found this in the basement of our building yesterday. trying to discover what year our building was built… people thought 1910, but newspaper that is wallpapering the walls says 1898. yes, it could have been 12 year old newspaper… but part of me thinks the building is older than we think! city records from that time are sketchy, poorly aged, and some are even in tatters.

have the day off (working the weekend)… starting it by looking at design blogs, then going thrifting to pick up some last items for the apartment, and then spending the rest of the day writing letters and postcards after i bake myself some COOKIES. sounds like an awesome thursday to me.
