remember when me and my best friend in 10th grade would go rent the most low-budget intense horrible 80s horror movies in small town ontario? like pin, c.h.u.d., sleepaway camp, and the movie the above gif is from, i spit on your grave? thanks to this on my dashboard i sure do.

i don’t get why images like this one get so many notes, circulating with zero credit or context. this is also one of the many images that was reproduced in the el guincho video that i was super uncomfortable about a while back.

there is also something incredibly interesting to unpack here about digital culture - this film was banned and censored upon it’s release in 1978, and is described as “one of the most controversial and notorious exploitation films ever” - yet, in 2012, i come upon this image scrolling along my dash
