i love this…
but i will always have personal issues with how racialized the word “savage” is, and seeing a little arrow next to it irks me.
anyone have credit/source?

Another one from Robert Verdi’s ridiculously chic shoe collection: These see-through oxfords are custom-made Max Kibardin in collaboration with artist Ike Ude, who did the sublimely scandalous bj stitching on the insole (We DIE).
Guess that’s one way to ensure you’re always a step ahead of the other guys. We sincerely LOVE Robert like no other. Happy weekend! Xx

i used to embroider the backs and cuffs of all my button ups but man it’s been years and i rarely wear those shirts anymore….
this is tooooooo badass, i gotta do it.

this is something i’ve often dreamed of doing for years, but with my vintage dresses.

Annie’s Room

Eleanor told us her friend Annie’s room was amazing, and she was right. Here, Annie gives us a tour.

from the interview:

When I was about 12, people at school started calling me Enid. I had no idea why for ages, until a friend of my dad’s came over with Ghost World on DVD for me because “the main character is just like you!” I guess every weird arty girl will say the same thing , but the movie and the graphic novel mean so much to me. I’ve identified with and looked up to Enid for years, but this September after failing my art A-level and having two weeks of summer school, I actually got into art school and finally “outgrew” her. That was really strange, sort of emotional, I guess in the same way everyone was crying about Harry Potter ending. This postcard’s [sic] from the fantastic video rental shop in Broadway Market, which has loads of cross-stitched film posters on the walls.

is this what triggered your thoughts, lionza?
