I must admit that it’s very rare that I look at someone wearing a dress and boots and think ‘I want to wear this!’ but this is very much making me want to get a pair of boots for winter (oh, why did I ever get rid of my Docs?)…and some slightly shorter dresses.
(note: I’m not saying I dislike that sort of look entirely but just don’t often feel compelled to wear it.)
i’m obviously in a different camp than andi, but i get what she means! when i was a teenager i used to be obsessed with people who wore (converse) sneakers with skirts and even followed a livejournal community devoted to that, ha! there was something about the mariage of femme with punk, but before i could articulate it as such…
also i’m pretty sure the people who style and work with lena hoschek really have a knack for making things people wouldn’t normally consider wearing look damn good and make you want to try it yourself. in my case, it would be fetish wear.
last but not least, i just looked at my lena hoschek tag and i have definitely written “which designer is this? because HOT DAMN. all of these things would look sexaaaaaay on my bodaaaaay.”
aaaand it’s true.
