thinking it might have been the worst idea ever to have started the femme flagging tumblr page since i have

  1. never set foot in a nail salon and hence:
  2. have never had my nails done before (okay wait once my friend neri did my nails but still i don’t know shit about this)
  3. own like four colours of nailpolish
  4. hate the idea of being any sort of “authority” on what it means to be femme and/or queer
  5. am just not patient enough
  6. seriously my knowledge of nail salons is a lauryn hill lyric

maybe i need to actually write out my feelings about this shit because for me femme flagging means a week old shitty chipped nailpolish job with cheap discount bin 2 dollar nailpolish. i can’t handle the “but what does this mean and what does this mean if i do it this way and what if this means this instead of this?”
