I remember when I first saw this set of photos. I can’t remember where it was, but all I could think was that this seriously fits the adage of a picture being worth a thousand words. I know that sounds dumb.
She (the model) knew people would say nasty things about her. Kudos to her for being able to stand up and make this point in such a good way. I don’t have the guts to do it, even though (intellectually) I know I have nothing to be ashamed of.
sometimes it kind of exhilarates me that, thanks to holly & jes’ project, a whole lot more people get to see how awesome some of my friends are. and people they’ve never even met, and will never meet, are defending the awesomeness of their project, their attitude, and their bodies.
